Here is your cookie training checklist:

NEW Troop Cookie Managers need to:
1) Complete the online Girl Scout River Valley Cookie Training.
2) Attend in-person training on Dec 11 OR Dec. 13th. Please note the in-person training is 75 minutes. (instead of the 60 minute usual volunteer meeting) Training will be held at Eastview Elementary School in the Commons/Cafeteria in Lakeville.
RETURNING Troop Cookie Managers
1) Attend in-person training on Dec 11 OR Dec. 13th. Please note the in-person training is 75 minutes. (instead of the 60 minute usual volunteer meeting) Training will be held at Eastview Elementary School in the Commons/Cafeteria in Lakeville.
2) Highly recommended to complete the online Girl Scout River Valley Cookie Training.
NEW SMART COOKIES TRAINING/SUPPORT
The Lakeville Service Unit is offering two opportunities to train in Smart Cookies before key deadlines.
You will receive in-person help with all of your Smart Cookies questions. Both drop in open house style training will be held in the conference room at Dakota Truck, 21450 Humboldt Ct, Lakeville, MN
1) Thursday, December 20, 6:30-7:30 p.m. before the Smart Cookie Booth Lottery deadline
2) Sunday, January 13, 3:00-4:00 p.m. before the troop initial order deadline, Jan. 14, 2019
Use Google Chrome as your browser to do the training and use Smart Cookies
Make sure your troop has a minimum of two registered adults for 2018-19 and that the cookie manager for your troop has an active adult membership for 2018-19. You also need to have an open, active Wells Fargo bank account. If you need to add an adult, it is easiest to contact Girl Scouts River Valleys at 1-800-845-0787 to process a membership over the phone. It will take 5 minutes or less. Membership is $25 and goes to Girl Scouts USA.
You will not be able to sell cookies until these steps are completed. Lakeville Girl Scouts will be tracking attendance at cookie training and the new troop cookie manager needs to provide the certificate of completion of the online training.
